Research
My research centers on AI for Science, with a current focus on applying machine learning and large language models (LLMs) in oceanography and environmental research. Specifically, I explore:
- Using AI to analyze and forecast ocean data, such as sea surface temperature, sea level, and circulation patterns.
- Integrating domain knowledge with machine learning to improve model accuracy and interpretability.
- Developing practical applications of LLMs for scientific workflows, including data analysis, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and automated report generation.
My goal is to contribute tools and methodologies that empower researchers to make faster, data-driven discoveries in the marine and climate sciences.
